Kelly Johnston Washington
Kelly Johnston (B.1976) earned a BFA in Painting from the University of Washington in 2000. She paints landscapes and abstract landscapes using water soluble oils. Her atmospheric paintings are the result of careful observation of the interaction of color, light and water with a focus on the physical properties of paint. Kelly lives a short ferry ride away from Seattle on Bainbridge Island with her husband and two children.
