Dan McCarthy​ Massachusetts

Dan McCarthy lives and works in Massachusetts. He attended The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. His work usually starts with pen and ink drawing. He prints all of his work himself and is considered a master printer- familiar with etching, lithography, and screen printing. Dan’s work often incorporates overlooked things like telephone lines and poles. He often focuses on death and rebirth, usually manifested as skeletons in his work, and the external environment in the nighttime setting, usually as wooded silhouettes and shadows. Dan has also made posters for bands and television shows such as LOST and Wilco.
