Kenny Harris Venice Beach, CA.

Kenny Harris is a figurative painter working and living in Venice Beach, CA, known for his atmospheric interiors and cityscapes inspired by his travels around the world.

His series of Mokapots is an exploration in color and form. Kenny has always been drawn to painting reflective spaces and objects—He finds delight in searching for harmonies, lost edges, and texture variation.  The faceted nature of the Moka allows him to play with how bright colors can appear on the form, often in unexpected ways.  In the end, these are color explorations, in the tradition of Joseph Albers or Albert Moore: reiteration of the same forms with different color combinations.

Also, he loves coffee.
